Traditional Roots

Ralph Campbell, lovingly known as "Papa," discovered his passion for baking while serving in the Air Force. A devoted father of four who would later become Papa to twelve grandchildren, he shared his love of baking with one of his children in 1976, passing down both his recipes and his craft.

 

Their homemade recipes quickly became favorites among family, friends, and neighbors. What began as a shared passion grew into a family business, and in 1987, Papa's Old Fashioned Bakery opened its doors in Maple Heights, Ohio. Sadly, Papa became ill, and the bakery closed before reaching its fifth anniversary.

Today, Greg proudly carries on the title of Papa to ten grandchildren. The cherished family recipes have continued to bring people together around the table for generations. With the encouragement and support of family and friends, Papa's Old Fashioned Bakery is reopening to share those same homemade favorites with a new generation.
